Please join me in welcoming all executive committee members, including ex officio members who remain committed to fulfil all your expectations. The new committee will continue to build on the great work our predecessors had started to build strong friendships, deep roots and nurture our Bengali identity here in Scotland. We are thankful to the outgoing committee for their commendable efforts and accomplishments, especially in the re-introduction of the Bangla school after so many years, successfully acquiring a financial grant and also for their support during the recent transition period, with organising the Annual Picnic which was a huge success. We will ensure the core, cultural and social activities continue throughout the year and also make efforts to improve the financial health of our organisation. We would remain supportive of our fellow members in the Durga Puja committee who put a lot of hard work in the successful organisation of our religious festivals.

The success of BSP would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our active members who often spend countless hours and personal resources in planning, preparing and execution of all our events. BSP takes pride in its effort to include our senior members in all activities and feel encouraged by how our members have been proactive in providing outreach support to some of our seniors to help them remain involved in BSP activities.
We warmly invite you all to remain involved in our collective efforts to nurture and advance BSP ensuring its continued growth and success. We seek your support and assistance to expand our membership. Please reach out to your friends and family and encourage all to join, especially those who are new to Glasgow with young families. I am sure, like us all, they would also want to enjoy the spirit and essence of Bengal here in Glasgow and propagate our rich Bengali cultural heritage to their new generations.

The new committee will endeavour to remain transparent and inclusive in all its efforts. We look forward to your strong support, feedback and collaboration going forward. We will continue to communicate via emails but do follow us on social media and also visit our website from time to time, to get latest information of all upcoming events.
